Item Types are the building blocks that make up certain features on your web pages.  For instance, you may want to have a Job Openings page with a list of available positions on the website or the ability to add news and events—these are Item Types.

 When to Use Item Types

There are two ways to add content to your site through Contros.
You can create a page using Dynamic Page Creation tools to c
reate your content or you can use Item Types.

Item Types allow you to standardize information in a
“cookie cutter” fashion to allow quick entry of information
in a more efficient manner vs. creating individual pages
from scratch to display your content. For example, using
Item Types to post Events on your site makes sense
because the information is pretty standardized. 

All events have the following:
